Brief video clips added to a few pages

I have added a 2011 Walt Disney World Photos & Videos page including not only my previously-posted YouTube video of the Countdown to New Year at Epcot, but a couple of brief (facebook) video clips from around the resort and my YouTube video of the Magic Kingdom's Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade.

I've also been embedding other brief video clips I previously posted on facebook:

Over on my London, England page, I've added a brief video clip of Harrod's.

On my Paris, France page, I've added a brief video clip of the Eiffel Tower at night as seen from the Seine River.

On my Israel page, I've added three brief video clips from around Jerusalem.

On my Washington, D.C. page, I've added a brief video clip of the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Capitol.

Perhaps by the time you read this, a facebook bug will be fixed and I'll have added a brief video clip of the Astronomical Clock striking the hour ceremony at the Old Town Square on my Prague, Czech Republic page.

Happy New Year - 2011!

When it's the New Year in your timezone, thanks to a bit of new code I wrote, ASDHollywood.com and Dalinka.com will automatically display the site's new 2011 Logo. All four digits of the year are taken from ASD's photographs at Walt Disney World -- the 2 is the most obscure from a resort, the 0 (heavily Photoshopped) is from a ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and the 11 is from a building at Epcot's World Showcase.

Subtle changes underway

Notice some new things in the welcome at the top and the menu bar on the left?

In modern browsers, the time in the welcome updates and the menu on the left displays dates in a digital graphical font.

More Photos Added to Dalinka.com

The slideshow on the first page of Dalinka.com now presents 50 randomly selected travel photos by Alan S. Dalinka.  The improved slideshow engine now selects from 150+ photos from around the world, and this selection tool may be expanded to include even more of ASD's photos!

St. Louis Photos from 2004 page added

Photos of the St. Louis Gateway Arch, from the Arch, the Mississippi Riverfront and of the Cubs vs. Cardinals game at old Busch Stadium from July 11, 2004 have been added to their own page.

Disneyland Pages Redesign & Update in Progress

So far, 2007, 2008 & 2009 Disneyland visit pages and the related part of ASD's portal page for Disneyland have been redesigned to have the same look and feel as the Walt Disney World pages.  A few new photos have been added along the way to make the pages more complete and each of the pages also takes advantage of the new additional side-bar code written for the Walt Disney World pages update last month.
